#1. Portfolio Manager – Park Alpha

Responsibilities:
This role is under Park Alpha, the consulting arm of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other business-related areas with strong quantitative and analytical course content. MBA preferred
  • Solid Investment Track Record (Most important)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in deep value investing and managing investment professionals
  • Minimum 10+ years of job-related experience.
  • CFA charterholder preferred
  • High degree of integrity, ethical standards, and confidentiality
  • Good network of contacts

Location: Northern California; Las Vegas, NV


#2. Business Development Associate

Responsibilities:
The Role of the Business Development Associate is to sell products and services to users who are interested in Sovereign Wealth Funds.  Cross-channel function, building on expert knowledge to target client base, recognize client needs and propose solution. Have own sales targets. Pro-active in developing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of sales and marketing concepts, methods, techniques and strategies.
  • Be able to consistently meet a financial quota
  • Successful previous telephone sales required
  • 3+ years of related sales experience.
  • Proven track record in sales a must!
  • Experience in Finance, Investment Banking, or in Investment Management sales desirable
  • Experience with Business to Business sales desirable
  • Good network of contacts

#3. Engagement Manager – Park Alpha

Responsibilities:
This role is under Park Alpha, the consulting arm of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute. The Role of the Engagement Manager in the Sovereign Wealth Fund and Pensions Practice will consult with such entities. Provide investment advice to a wide range of institutional clients on the determination of investment objectives, establishment of investment policy, selection of investment managers and the monitoring of investments. Lead efforts to aggressively market and expand the Investment Consulting business as well as Park Alpha’s broader services as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics or other business-related areas with strong quantitative and analytical course content. MBA preferred
  • Good knowledge of pensions industry, markets, investment managers and relevant legislation
  • Experience advising boards and investment committees
  • Minimum 12+ years of job-related experience.
  • CFA charterholder preferred
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Good network of contacts
