Carl Linaburg
Vice President, Co-Founder
Carl Linaburg is Vice President and Co-Founder of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.
Mr. Linaburg is a founder of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute, and has experience working in the asset management industry. Carl currently conducts research on state-owned investment funds worldwide including the rating of transparency for sovereign wealth funds; which is reflected in the Linaburg-Maduell Transparency Index. He has also been featured in a number of financial news publications including Thomson Reuters, Wall Street Journal, Economic Observer China. He has been a guest speaker for conferences and panel chair for a discussion at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on investable opportunities in Africa for sovereign wealth funds and a speaker at the Second International Business Forum in Doha, Qatar 2008.
He holds a BSc in Finance from the University of South Florida, Tampa.
