UPDATE: The deal officially closed on December 17, 2015.

Chasing yield and analyzing the growth of e-commerce in developed markets, large public institutional investors like Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), APG and Singapore’s GIC Private Limited participated in being some of the biggest buyers of industrial properties. For example, GIC and Singapore-based Global Logistic Properties Ltd. ended up acquiring the IndCor Properties portfolio from The Blackstone Group. Another notable logistics deal in 2015 is Prologis U.S. Logistics Venture, a partnership with NBIM and Prologis, acquisition of KTR Capital Partners for US$ 5.9 billion.
