BREAKING: DJIA Plummets 450 Points

On Monday, U.S. listed equities fell sharply. The Dow Jones industrial average (DJIA) dropped more than 450 points by mid-morning trade, down more than 2.5%. At this pace, it could be the biggest percentage decline on the first day of trading in the new year since 1932.

This drop comes after China’s Shanghai Composite Index dropped 7% earlier.
