Future Fund Returns 12.8% for CY 2012

Australia’s Future Fund returned 12.8% for the calendar year 2012. Since the fund’s inception in May 2006 it has generated annualized return of 5.4% per annum.
Last year’s calendar 2011 return was 1.6%. Over the 2012 calendar year, the Future Fund lowered its allocation to cash and increased allocation to private equity among others.
