SEC Hits Omega Advisors with Insider Trading

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has charged hedge fund manager Leon G. Cooperman and his firm Omega Advisors L.L.C. with insider trading based on material nonpublic information he learned in confidence from a corporate executive. Cooperman will fight the SEC charges.
