People Exit as Mercer Heads Toward Global Restructuring

Mercer Investments is planning a major global restructuring. Ray King, based in Melbourne, is leaving Mercer Investments as head of private equity manager research for the Asia-Pacific region. Ray joined Mercer in July 2012 where he was at Sovereign Investment Research Pty Limited as managing director. He was the founding chairperson of the Australian Chapter of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) in 2000.

Yaser Moustafa Joins NBK Capital

Yaser Moustafa has been appointed Senior Managing Director at NBK Capital. He will be based in Dubai. Moustafa comes from Alvarez & Marsal’s private equity advisory practice where he was a managing director for the Middle East region. Before Alvarez & Marsal, he was at Nomura International as head of Saudi Arabia investment banking. Moustafa had a stint at William Morris Talent Agency, CNN and NBC in the United States.
