Teacher Retirement System of Texas Hires Townsend Group

The US$ 86 billion Teacher Retirement System of Texas has hired Townsend Group, a real estate investment consultant. The real estate investment consultants will assist the pension fund in recommending investments. Currently, the pension fund has a 3% allocation to real estate, in which it predicts greater allocation in the future.
