The investment office manages the endowment assets for Pepperdine University. Pepperdine’s endowment funds permanent resources for faculty chairs, scholarships, programs for students, and upgrades to facilities and technology resources. The University’s endowment consists of 362 individual donor-restricted endowment funds and 61 University-designated quasi-endowment funds for a variety of purposes. The net assets associated with endowment funds, including funds designated by the University to function as endowments, are classified and reported based on the existence or absence of donor-imposed restrictions.
