Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta Discloses SWF Plans

Kenyan President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta announced the establishment of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Bill during his State of The Nation address in parliament on April 4, 2019.
“My administration has developed and will be presenting during this session of Parliament, the Sovereign Wealth Fund Bill,” he disclosed.
As proposed in the bill, the SWF will be divided into three parts, (i) a stabilization fund, (ii) an infrastructure and development fund, and (iii) a future generation dund.
