Stephen Poloz to Step Down as Bank of Canada Governor in June 2020

Stephen S. Poloz, the current Governor of the Bank of Canada and member of the board of directors for the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), will step down as Governor in June 2020 after his 7-year term ends.
Poloz’s predecessor Mark Carney is the Governor of the Bank of England.
