Former U.S. Vice President Joseph “Joe” Biden and U.S. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders fared well on Super Tuesday winning the most votes and delegates. After winning South Carolina before Super Tuesday, Biden got momentum, additional media exposure, and backing from his peers and is projected to win Massachusetts, Minnesota, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. Bernie Sanders, the socialist candidate, won his home state of Vermont, and is projected to win Colorado, Utah, and the delegate-rich state of California.

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts will finish a disappointing third in her home state.

Bloomberg

After spending more than US$ 500 million on campaign ads nationwide, Michael “Mike” Bloomberg, won five delegates from American Samoa during the Super Tuesday election contest. U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard from Hawaii won one delegate from American Samoa. In the past 90 days, Bloomberg spent over US$ 60 million on advertisements in Facebook. To become the Democrat presidential nominee Bloomberg is banking on the possibility of a contested convention at the Democratic convention in July 2020.
