Coronavirus Hits New York Office of Steven Cohen’s Hedge Fund Point72

Hedge fund giant Steve Cohen who runs Point72 Asset Management confirmed an employee at the New York office at Hudson Yards became a confirmed case of Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). All Point72 Asset Management employees who worked on the 14th floor with the employee were sent home for a mandatory 14-day quarantine.

Morgan Stanley disclosed that an employee at their Purchase, New York office tested positive for coronavirus.

U.K. junior health minister Nadine Dorries was diagnosed with the coronavirus and is in isolation.

News outlet Bild reported German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that she expects around 60% to 70% percent of Germans will be infected with the coronavirus, which equates to roughly 53 million people. So far Germany has around 1,565 reported cases of coronavirus.
