Posted on 04/30/2020

Outgoing Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) CEO Yngve Slyngstad was cleared by Norges Bank in an internal probe. Norges Bank found that Yngve Slyngstad did not breach ethical guidelines when he hopped on a flight from Philadelphia to Oslo that was paid for by hedge fund leader Nicolai Tangen. Tangen is succeeding Yngve Slyngstad as the next CEO of NBIM, which oversees Norway Government Pension Fund Global.

The Norges Bank Supervisory Council had given Norges Bank until April 29, 2020 to answer its questions.
