SWFI: Strategic Direct Listed Equity Investments by SWFs and Public Pensions into Software Companies

Listed companies in the software industry include Microsoft Corporation, Salesforce.com, etc. This chart excludes smaller investment amounts of less than US$ 40 million. Some of the sample of public funds include PGGM, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Teacher Retirement System of Texas, Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), and others.

NOTE: SWFI tracks open market equity transactions made by public funds such as sovereign wealth funds and public pensions. These figures are not the whole population, but a representative sample of open market listed equity transactions. In addition, SWFI counts the larger transactions, as SWFI believes those smaller transactions are more of an indexed nature.
