1. New York Tops 6,000 coronavirus cases for the first time since April 2020.

2. News media reports that Salesforce has been in discussions to buy Slack Technologies.

3. A Pennsylvania court has ordered the state to halt work certifying elections until Friday. The judge entered a preliminary order temporarily halting certification. People have signed affidavits (under penalty of perjury) of voting irregularities in the State of Pennsylvania. There are cases of people requesting ballots from deceased persons. President Trump is going for the long shot of convincing electors. States decide how to apportion their electors. In the mean time, Joe Biden received approval from the General Services Administration to start with transfers. Biden transition official says that Biden Team has been briefed on Operation War Speed and COVID-19 response.

4. Popular former football (soccer) star Diego Maradona dies from heart attack on Nov. 25th in Tigre, Argentina.

5. IBM plans to cut around 10,000 jobs in Europe.

6. According to Nikkei Asia, China’s National Development and Reform Commission has launched a nationwide review of electric vehicle (EV) projects. The economic planning commission has asked local branches of Evergrande Auto (China Evergrande New Energy Vehicle Group) to submit investment and production data for the past five years. EV makers have sprouted in China over the past few years due to lucrative government subsidies that were prompted from Beijing to deal with air pollution in cities.
