1. Saudi Arabia expects to receive up to 25 billion riyals in dividends this year from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).

2. Indonesia’s government has issued three regulations enabling it to establish a sovereign wealth fund. The new regulations include rules stating that the sovereign fund will have 75 trillion rupiah of capital. 15 trillion rupiah would be the initial capital from the budget.

3. CME Group to launch Ether Futures on Feb 8, 2021.

4. Swiss National Bank says Switzerland does not engage in any form of currency manipulation.

5. U.S. Treasury designates Switzerland and Vietnam as currency manipulators. U.S. Treasury adds India, Taiwan, and Thailand to currency manipulator watchlist. China is on the currency manipulator watch list.

7. Social media giant Twitter to wind down popular Periscope streaming app.

8. China’s holdings of U.S. Treasuries in October 2020 was US$ 1.054 trillion vs. US$ 1.062 trillion in September 2020.
