Bitcoin Price Breaches $60,000

Bitcoin (BTC) reached above US$ 60,000 on October 15, 2021. The digital currency reached an all-time high. Crypto traders are betting that U.S. regulators, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), would clear the first bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund. The ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF is expected to be live on the New York Stock Exchange on October 19, 2021. The proposals by ProShares and Invesco Ltd. are based on futures contracts and were filed under mutual fund rules.
BTC surged as high as US$ 60,314, breaching its highest level since April 18, 2021.
