ADQ Moves 22.32% Stake in Aramex to Abu Dhabi Ports

Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company PJSC (ADQ) transferred a 22.32% stake in logistics firm Aramex, which it acquired in 2020, to Abu Dhabi Ports, another company in its portfolio, Aramex said. “Abu Dhabi Ports Company PJSC has received today shares representing 22.3225% of the capital of Aramex PJSC from Alpha Oryx Ltd,” Aramex said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.

In September 2020, ADQ purchased an approximate 22% stake in Dubai-based Aramex through ADQ’s Alpha Oryx Ltd.

Abu Dhabi Ports is a ports, industrial zones and logistics operator based in capital of the United Arab Emirates and is part of ADQ, one of the region’s largest holding companies with a broad portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi’s diversified economy.
