The British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC) invests on behalf of public sector clients in British Columbia. bcIMC manages 67 pooled investment funds in all major asset classes with investments in domestic and global markets.

The bcIMC was formed under the authority of the Public Sector Pension Plans Act, which was passed by the British Columbia Legislature on July 15, 1999. It is created as an independently investment management corporation.
