As a CFA Charterholder and chartered treasurer, with over 8 years’ experience at one of the Middle East’s largest sovereign wealth funds (Mubadala Investment Company), Rachel has a deep understanding of the financial markets and business strategy.

Rachel is currently a Director at Heirloom Investment Management. Heirloom was originally a single-family office for the Field-Marsham family in Canada, which spun out in 2016 to make their cross-asset macro thematic investment strategy available to a wider group of family offices and institutions.

In 2014, the Association of Corporate Treasurers named Rachel “The One to Watch” in Treasury.

Rachel is also a television news anchor, with over 5 years’ experience working at the BBC. Rachel frequently moderates financial events for blue-chip clients such as the CFA and the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute. She has been a guest speaker at numerous events for the ACT, including career evenings and annual conferences.

Rachel is currently the host of What’s Up, a one-hour weekly television show focusing on fitness, healthy living, sports and lifestyle on Physique TV. She has interviewed global sports stars such as Manny Pacquiao and Jelena Jankovic, through to celebrity chefs and members of the royal family.

Rachel is also a member of Mensa.

In 2009, Rachel published her first book - Jandal Prints on the Globe – and helped to establish a charity called Espoir so that sale proceeds could go towards supporting youth entrepreneurship.

Rachel is an active angel investor in a variety of start-ups, both locally and internationally.
