Catherine Savage Appointed Chair at NZSF

Catherine Savage has been appointed Chair of the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, the Crown entity that oversees and manages the New Zealand Superannuation Fund (NZSF). This appointment becomes effective January 1, 2106. Savage was appointed Deputy Chair in September 2012. She replaces Gavin Walker who chaired the guardian since 2012. Walker resigned from the chair role to focus on a smaller group of board commitments. Savage is the managing director of Savage Group Limited. She also is the Chair of the National Provident Fund and an independent director to Kiwibank, Todd Family Office and Pathfinder Asset Management.

In addition, the Deputy Chair of the Guardians has been selected. Lindsay Wright, a current guardian, will take the deputy chair role.
