Echiquier Agressor Gets Former SWF Fund Manager’s Perspective

On October 1, 2018, La Financière de l’Echiquier (LFDE) announced the appointment of Frédéric Buzaré as the fund manager for Echiquier Agressor. Buzaré will work closely with Didier Le Menestrel, founder of La Financière de l’Echiquier and Echiquier Agressor in 1991. Echiquier Agressor is a contrarian, conviction-driven and opportunistic European equity fund with no restrictions with respect to criteria.
Frédéric Buzaré joined GIC Private Limited as senior vice president and European equity funds manager in 2012. Singapore’s GIC is a direct investor in European equities, taking bets all across Europe, as well as allocation capital to managers. Before GIC, he was on the Dexia Asset Management equity team in Brussels and had stints at Banque de France, AXA Investment Managers, and BNP Paribas.
