Fullerton Fund Management Makes Senior Hires in Private Equity

Fullerton Fund Management Company Ltd., which is owned by Singapore’s Temasek Holdings, is making a bold play to augment its private equity footprint. Fullerton named Tan Huck Khim on December 1, 2018 to be head of private equity. Tan Huck Khim will be managing private equity strategies at Fullerton and report to Patrick Yeo, the firm’s chief investment officer. Tan Huck Khim was on the customized fund investment group as a partner on the global investment committee at Credit Suisse.

Fullerton hired Mark Yuen as chief business development officer who will start on January 8, 2019. Yuen will report to Jenny Sofian, CEO at Fullerton. Mark Yuen comes from Eastspring Investments, where he was director and head of institutional sales and client management. Yuen had also worked at Robeco Hong Kong, Credit Agricole Asset Management, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Third, Fullerton hired Kenneth Chia as vice president of private equity who will start on January 7, 2019.
