Future Fund Invests in Video Analytics Firm Conviva

Foster City, California-based Conviva raised US$ 40 million in a recent round. The video analytics company was formed in 2006, originally called Rinera. Conviva raised money in this latest round from Australia’s Future Fund, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Foundation Capital, and Time Warner Investments.

According to the company, Conviva’s software sensors are currently deployed across 2.5 billion devices globally and measure over 1 billion streaming minutes per day of premium video content for publishers such as HBO, Sky, Turner, and more.
