GIC Makes Share Grab at Glenveagh IPO

Singapore’s GIC Private Limited was revealed to have a 10.2% ownership position in Glenveagh Properties PLC at the Irish homebuilder’s initial public offering (IPO) at October 10th, which saw a 14% increase in Glenveagh’s value from an initial market capitalization of €617 million (US$ 731 million) at €1 per share, to €704 million (US$ 866 million) in the first day of trading.
