UPDATE: October 5, 2016
Days after the GIC and GSA announced their partnership, the venture has acquired a student accommodation portfolio of around 1,000 student beds in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, Munster and Dresden. In addition, the venture is planning on committing money to build a pipeline of an additional 1,500 students beds across Germany. Advisers on the German transaction were Nabarro, Freshfields, Osborne Clark and PWC.
