PKA Backs Micro-Loan Services in Latin America and Africa

European pensions are analyzing potential investments in micro loans. Danish labor-market pension entity Pensionskassernes Administration A/S (PKA) has invested 250 million DKK (US$ 39.8 million) in the Maj Invest Financial Inclusion Fund II, which targets financial institutions that provide micro-loans to lower and middle-class borrowers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
