Sam Porath Named Manager of NZ Equities at NZSuper

The Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation promoted Sam Porath to manager of New Zealand equities. Porath will head up the fund’s in-house active New Zealand equities mandate. Porath will report to Will Goodwin, head of New Zealand direct investment. NZ Super’s internal NZ equities holdings are complemented by external mandates with investment managers Devon Funds Management and Mint Asset Management.
Porath joined NZ Super in 2013 from Russell Investments. He is currently Portfolio Manager of Strategic Tilting at NZ Super.
