Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) is forming a 4 billion SAR (US$ 1.07 billion) fund-of-funds to allocate capital to domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The fund-of-funds will target allocating capital to private equity funds and venture funds, which will in turn target SMEs. These funds will most likely be growth equity strategies.
