BlackRock Snags UBS Strategist for Multiasset Strategies Asia-Pacific

BlackRock has hired Edward Bang to be head of multiasset strategies for the Asia-Pacific region. In this new position, Bang will report to Ryan Stork and Ken Kroner. Bang is coming from UBS Global Asset Management as being its head strategist for Asia-Pacific in the multiasset class global investment solutions business.

Battery East Hires Former NYSE Chief

Former NYSE Chief Duncan L. Niederauer has joined Battery East as a managing director. In September, San Francisco-based Battery East opened its doors, helping employees of privately-owned companies with liquidity options with regard to their shares. Niederauer was a partner at Goldman Sachs before joining the NYSE. Niederauer will be based in New Jersey.
