Summary

The Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA) is based in the United Arab Emirates. Post-2008, RAKIA is part of a larger group now called RAK Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and has nothing to do with funding or making investments. In August 2017, SWFI removed RAKIA as a classification for a sovereign wealth fund.
