Bloomberg Ends Presidential Bid

Michael “Mike” Bloomberg suspended his presidential campaign and endorsed former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. This is the day after a poor performance on Super Tuesday. This means Bloomberg LP will not be going up for sale in the near future. Various news reports mention Bloomberg spent around US$ 1 billion on his campaign for president. This amount has not been verified by his campaign. Of that US$1 billion amount, Bloomberg reportedly spent over US$ 500 million on ads since declaring his candidacy for president in late November 2019.
Mike Bloomberg is the former Mayor of New York and founder of Bloomberg LP.
