Uganda Government Shuts Down Twitter and Facebook Over Election Interference By Censoring Users

The Uganda government is shutting down access to social media sites Facebook and Twitter for censoring users during an election. In a neocolonialist-fashion, Facebook was closing accounts on government employees in Uganda. Facebook and Twitter recently closed the accounts of the sitting U.S. President and a number of his supporters recently.
