SL Green Buys the Rest of 600 Lexington Avenue

SL Green Realty Corporation, the largest commercial property owner in New York City and a real estate investment trust (REIT), agreed to acquire a 45% indirect stake in 600 Lexington Avenue from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). This will consolidate SL Green’s ownership in the 36-story foot Midtown Manhattan office building. The transaction implies consideration for the consolidated interests of US$ 284 million. SL Green and CPPIB bought the property in May 2010.
