Angola is a member of OPEC. The country is a major petroleum producer in sub-Saharan Africa that rivals Nigeria. Angola is in the works in launching a sovereign wealth fund to invest the oil-rich nation’s wealth abroad. The fund will be called Fundo Soberano Angolano (FSA). There is no set date on completion of the creation of the sovereign fund.
