Norges Bank Excludes Three Companies

Norges Bank’s Executive Board has listed three companies for investment exclusion. They are: Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd., Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd, and PT Astra International. This is because they are deemed environmentally troubling, based on the Guidelines for Observation and Exclusion from the Government Pension Fund Global. The Council on Ethics handed down the recommendation last year.
The sovereign wealth fund is called Norway Government Pension Fund Global.
