COVID Kills Disney Theme Parks

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns, theme parks have been deeply impacted. Disneyland and California Adventure, both Southern California properties, have been closed for more than six months. The Walt Disney Company plans to lay off 28,000 employees, in which around 67% of that amount are part-time employees.

Disney’s theme parks in Florida and in other parts of the world have been able to reopen with limited capacity.
