Keppel, Temasek, and Incitec Pivot Sign MoU on Green Ammonia Creation in Australia

Green ammonia is ammonia produced from 100% renewable energy feedstocks and carbon-free processes. Keppel New Energy is a subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure. Keppel New Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Temasek Holdings and Australia’s Incitec Pivot, a fertilizer manufacturer, to look into producing green ammonia in Australia for export globally. The trio are looking at producing the ammonia in Queensland and New South Wales. Under the MoU, ASX-listed Incitec Pivot will contribute its expertise in ammonia production. Incitec Pivot will provide its land on Kooragang Island in the Port of Newcastle, New South Wales.

Keppel Infrastructure is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-listed Keppel Corporation.
