ADIA Puts Request to Exit ILS Portfolio

Insurance-linked securities (ILS) are an asset class based upon insurance events. For asset owners, they can provide an element of diversity to portfolios. The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is seeking to lower its exposure to insurance linked securities. ADIA entered a redemption request to exit from its multi-billion ILS portfolio.
