AES May Sell Coal Asset

AES Corporation is an American utility and power company. It owns and operates power plants, which it uses to generate and sell electricity to end users and intermediaries like utilities and industrial facilities. AES is in planning to sell a majority stake in a large coal-fired plant in Vietnam. It is trying to end coal deposits by 2025.
AES is hoping to sell to Sev.en Global Investments, the financial vehicle for foreign acquisitions of Czech energy firm Sev.en Group. South Korea’s Posco International would also like to sell its 30%, but is not yet doing so.
