Pension Change In Ohio

News out of Columbus isn’t ideal for top management at The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio). The pension voted on to place the pension fund’s director, Bill Neville, on administrative leave and to investigate him. Neville has been in place since 2020. Neville is being investigated for personnel related matters, says the pension, but no details were given.
It is the fifth largest public teacher pension system in the U.S. with membership of 528,000 and about US $90 billion in investments. Lynn Hoover, current CFO, will serve as interim director.
