Pensions Urge Tesla To Accept Collective Bargaining

Posted on 12/11/2023

Norway’s largest pension fund KLP, Denmark’s PFA, and others are pushing Tesla to accept collective bargaining in the region, a demand Elon Musk has said he would not do. A dust up in Sweden has led to a spread of challenging public relations for Musk and Tesla as worker’s requests are impacting various industries. The latest resistance will take the form of a letter that will read in part: “Tesla’s attitude against the right to collective bargaining is of deep concern.” Norwegians and Danes say their high quality of life is due to collective bargaining.

PensionDenmark has already said it would sell its Tesla shares after the labor dispute. It is not known how many shares the pension holds, but other pensions are not following in PensionDenmark’s shoes at this time.
