Bitcoin Hanging On Over US$ 51 Thousand

Bitcoin is holding strong over US$ 51,000 after its recent gains. In September of 2023, bitcoin was only half of its current price. The spot bitcoin ETF, which was long anticipated, has seen cumulative trading volume of over US$ 50 billion. Carson Group is the latest registered investment advisor to approve of certain bitcoin ETFs. These are from BlackRock, Fidelity, Bitwise, and Franklin. New emails from bitcoin’s mysterious founder have also revealed technical details and costs envisioned for the cryptocurrency, and a theory that bitcoin mining would be less labor and resource intensive than “the billions in banking fees” that had been the norm, “that pay for all those brick and mortar buildings, skyscrapers and junk mail credit card offers.”
