People’s Pension Plans £15 billion For Climate Allocation

The People’s Pension is one of the largest master trust workplace pensions in the UK. It has over 5 million members. It has announced that it will reallocate £15 billion into a passive fund that complies with EU climate transition benchmarks. The EU has a plan for “climate neutrality” by 2050. That “means achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions for EU countries as a whole, mainly by cutting emissions, investing in green technologies and protecting the natural environment.”
