CPPIB Blesses Waste Management Buyout of Advanced Disposal Services

As part of Waste Management, Inc.’s acquisition deal to purchase Advanced Disposal Services, Inc. for a total enterprise value of US$ 4.9 billion, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) agreed to vote in favor of the deal. CPPIB owns approximately 19% of Advanced Disposal’s outstanding shares.
