BNP Paribas Seeks to Sell Retail Bank Assets in Tunisia and Gabon

BNP Paribas is looking to sell non-core assets in Africa. The French banking giant is seeking to sell its retail banks in Tunisia and Gabon. BNP Paribas is looking to sell its 50.1% stake in Tunisia-based Union Bancaire pour le Commerce et l’Industrie.

BNP Paribas also holds a 47% stake in its bank in Gabon.
