CVC Capital Gets Majority Control of Teneo

CVC Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Teneo, a U.S. public relations company. The price for the stake is estimated at more than US$ 350 million.

London-based BC Partners sold its roughly 50% stake in Teneo to CVC Capital, while Teneo company management sold a fraction of their shares in the company to CVC Capital.

Principal Global Investors Uses Eagle Investment Systems for IBOR

Eagle Investment Systems LLC is a BNY Mellon company. Principal Global Investors is using Eagle Investment Systems for its Investment Book of Record (IBOR), replacing its legacy accounting system.

State Street Corporation Hires Former IHS Markit Executive

State Street Corporation hired Spiros Giannaros as Executive Vice President, Head of Platform Strategies. In this newly created role, Giannaros will be responsible for ensuring an integrated and coordinated approach between the firm’s product offerings, its front-to-back platform development and the data that it manages. He will report to Lou Maiuri, chief operating officer. Giannaros was most recently the Global Head of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) and a Partner at IHS Markit (formerly Markit).
