EIA Acquires Large Stake in du from Mubadala Legacy Unit

The Emirates Investment Authority (EIA) augmented its investment position in Dubai-based firm Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, du. EIA acquired 463.263 million shares, or 10.2% of du’s issued share capital, from Mamoura Diversified Global Holding PJSC and General Investments FZE in a special deal. Mamoura Diversified Global Holding PJSC is formerly Mubadala Development Company PJSC. Mamoura Diversified Global Holding is under Mubadala Investment Company.
At December 2018, Mamoura Diversified Global Holding PJSC had 399,465,000,000 AED in assets versus 298,715,000,000 AED in assets at December 31, 2017.
