Hedge Investor Fund Investor Jeffrey Tarrant Dies

Jeffrey Tarrant died on August 5, 2019, at the age of 63, at his home in Bridgehampton, New York after a battle with brain cancer. In 2002, Tarrant founded Protégé Partners, LLC which seeds and invests in early hedge fund managers.
Tarrant graduated from Harvard Business School and U.C. Davis. Before founding Protégé Partners, Tarrant founded a hedge fund database called Altvest in 1996 that was sold to InvestorForce in 2000. Tarrant served from 1998 to 2002 on the board of directors of The Investment Fund for Foundations (TIFF).
